๐Staff Probationary Period
As you have been selected to become part of the Staff team, you are not only held to a higher standard of becoming role models in the community, you now have jobs and responsibilities to complete within your specific department. In addition to the new responsibilities, you need to also make sure you are active in all ways both in-game and out-of-game and be sure to step up to the plate of leadership. A temporary probationary period will be placed on newer staff to ensure that you listen, are understanding the roles that you have been put into, and you arenโt abusing said roles. In total, the typical probationary period will last a total of 60 days from once you receive staff.
First 30 days of probationary period: you will be learning the ropes of how your current Chain of Command operates, the basic duties of what your position itself does (whether it be training, feedback handling, etc.), and any other duties or responsibilities that CoC delegates to you. After learning everything during the first 30 days and having some experience, you will have a sit down between the heads of your current CoC to discuss your progress. Failure to learn or complete these types of responsibilities within the first 30 days of the probationary period will come up during this timeframe and will be considered your warning to tighten up and improve within the next 30 days of your probationary period. Once the remainder of your time has come about, you will have a second meeting between the department heads as well as bluelineparabellum to discuss whether you have improved or shown no progress in your development in working in staff. If they feel that you have not improved in any way towards fulfilling your said duties, it would be at this time they would remove you from staff. Do note, that this does not mean you are removed from staff and cannot have another chance to move up. This is meant to monitor how one operates and shows that you are willing to be a part of staff versus just wanting a position of power or to have a title, which is not what we are looking for in staff members. Also please note that once you have become a CoC member, at any point, a Admin or your direct Department Head do have the right to remove you from your position at any point in time regardless of the probationary period.
